OUR PONIES COMPETITION NEWS :

FEBRUARY News - I have got Silverlea Sals in from his xmas break, we went to Sparsholt Equine Centre last week end and took him in a few pipe openers he came home with a third, so very pleased with him, heading for some dressage and a ODE in March.

-OCTOBER News- We have been out and about doing a few Dressage Classes with the ponies, Silverlea Salsa Did the Wilton Hunt Hunter trial and Came 3rd which was great!, Tristan has been hunting on his pony with the New Forest Buckhounds. All the ponies will be turned out for a well earned break till after xmas now.

SEPTEMBER NEWS - Tristan has competed on his little pony Bengad Rhuem or ROO for short, in the lead rein class and came home with a 3rd after bouncing most the way round in trot!! We also went to the Chilworth Riding club Hunter Trial at Dene Farm where Silverlea Salsa came 6th.

AUGUST NEWS- We competed at the New Forest Pony & Cattle Society Breed Show where we came 4th in the Novice workers on Silverlea Salsa a 6th with our homebred two year old filly Hollyhatch Royale Rose, we also came third with another homebred NF x TB Filly in the partbred youngstock, which was great as it was her first ever show and she behaved perfectly( must be due to her father being Farriers Fingerprint, who qualified for Olympia yet again at the same show) We ran the Retack Gymkhana which proved to be very popular and also very entertaining. Our Son Tristan was the only one to bring home a First place rosette when he won his class the Annual Fancy Dress, dressed as a Pirate on his little pony Hairy.

JULY NEWS - I have had a good couple of weeks with our New Forest gelding Silverlea Salsa, we won an open M&M WHP class and then went overall WHP Champion a few weeks ago and last weekend we had a 5th in an Open WHP and a 3rd in the open M&M.
